IR-KIT HYBRID INFRARED SPRAY BOOTHS

Hybrid infrared curing with oil or gas fired heating for the spray cycle

The Eurotecno IR-KIT with technology derived from the top-of-the-range all electric Raptor spray booth, converts any Eurotecno automotive booth to a Hybrid Infrared Spray Booth. The IR-KIT can also be retro-fitted to upgrade existing spray booths.

The IR-KIT transforms a traditional spray booth into a Hybrid booth; Gas or oil powered heating for the spray cycle and Infrared curing. Hybrid booths can also use the burner for a traditional bake cycle.

Hybrid booths include a control panel that allows the operator to set the output power of the infrared lamps independently for the top and bottom rows. The operator can also choose which lamps to use during the curing cycle, significantly reducing energy consumption when only a part of the vehicle needs curing.

The ceiling mounted infrared lamps are suspended from the roof and can be retrofitted to most Eurotecno spray booths

4

Additional lamps are installed in the front and end walls at high level.

Optional side extraction spray booth; The IR-KIT can be also be installed in booths with underfloor or end extraction.

Infrared Curing

The infrared lamps have wavelengths selected to allow for a  range of materials to be cured. This allows you to spray and cure vehicles with a mixture of materials easily with different power output easily selected via the IR control panel.

IR curing significantly reduces the curing time. Panel temperature reached curing point in a fraction of the time required by a traditional booth.

Energy Saving

Infrared curing saves significant amount of energy and time. Panel temperature is reached in 15% of the time it takes a traditional oil or gas fired booth.

Each Infrared tube is 1450W and there are up to 36 in a standard vehicle booth. 5 banks of infrared tubes can be individually selected to cure whichever part of the vehicle has been sprayed — save up to 80% energy costs when just one bank is required.

Total time savings per job:

HYBRID : 75 minutes
Traditional Spray Booth : 115 minutes

*Includes preparation, spraying, flash off, baking and cooling.

Test parameters: 20°C Spraying temperature, 70°C Bake temperature, 15°C Ambient temperature.

Control System

The easy to use control panel allows the operator to choose which lamps to use and to independently set the power for the top and bottom rows.

Automatic pressure control is also built-in, keeping the airflows constant and adjusting fan speeds to compensate as the filters do their job keeping the air dust-free.
